Faces | Jennifer Santos-Fresnedi

The latest work I had was with a good friend, Jenn. She’s the matron of honor for a friend’s wedding.

Here is her not-so-before shot, I already started with a primer and a little foundation.

Faces | Air, Miggy, Miguel

Saturday night at home with nothing in mind to do. I thought I should open my makeup case to say hi to my stuff. And I just had my brother’s girlfriend, Air, agree to sit on my makeup chair.

Air is an athlete from University of the Philippines. She’s on the track team and she just won first place that day.

I did not want her to look like she ate years of her life and added them to her age, which means I had to keep it subtle and fresh. So here’s how she ended up looking:

Here’s my brother, right before I bullied him into agreeing to have him groomed a little too.

Anyway, just wanted to post how they looked like:

Miggy’s good friend, Miguel, was hanging out with us too. He wanted to see how he’d look like with more facial hair…

“..So I put on my makeup, put a smile on my face, and if anyone asks me, everything is okay. Im laughing ’cause no one knows the joke is on me ’cause I’m dying inside with my pride and a smile on my face, on my face singing la la la..” (Smile, Tamia)

If you’re going through something, no matter how minute or shallow the issue is, what better way to cope than to get yourself pretty-fied! This is probably why girls cut their hair or do something drastic like bleaching your hair or getting a tattoo (which some might just regret after). So an easier, almost-at-no-cost way of coping? Putting on makeup! Or have someone do it for you.

Tell me what you think!
